Plastic modular belts are sprocket-driven for positive drive and tracking which virtually eliminates problems associated with mistracking that can lead to belt damage. Flights are assembled as an integral part of the belt and can be replaced with a minimum of downtime without complicated tools or equipment. The all-plastic design provides maximum corrosion and abrasion resistance while eliminating concerns of metal contamination.
Belt surface styles can range in open area from 18% to 40% to maximize drainage without compromising belt strength. Belt materials are available in unique colours to provide visual contrast between the belt and the product. All materials are FDA approved and are designed for a wide range of operating temperatures from -90°F to 220°F.
PTFE Coated Mesh Conveyor Belts are used in a variety of applications where materials are handled in a heat or UV environment – from screen print dryers used in the textile industry to extruded rubber products used in the automobile industry. Belts are designed for top performance in these environments. Open mesh PTFE impregnated fibreglass belting is available in brown or with a black U.V. block coating for ultraviolet drying. The woven glass substrate provides exceptional strength and dimensional stability. Its non-stick surface, operating temperature range from -73°C to +260°C and the 70% open area makes this belting the perfect solution for many drying applications.
Polyurethane conveyor belts are manufactured using thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) sheet. Conveyor belts can be manufactured using one of two grades, TPU95T (Translucent) and TPU95B (Blue), both of which are suitable for food contact. We can supply endless, bespoke size polyurethane conveyor belts to your exacting requirements.
Polyurethane conveyor belts are mostly used in the food, drink and pharmaceutical sectors, and is commonly used for raw, cooked and frozen foodstuffs.
Key Features of our polyurethane conveyor belts are: Temperature: -30°C up to +60°C | Excellent wear resistance and tear strength. | Good resistance to grease, oils, water, cleaning agents and other liquids. | Can be manufactured into endless lengths.
